Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, whom we believe to be the Son of God and the saviour of the world. His message of hope, love, and redemption for a broken world and its people is at the heart of our faith. We believe that Jesus came to earth to show us the way to enter the kingdom of God and that He died on the cross for our sins, rising again on the third day to give us the promise of salvation that puts the world right and to restore all who put their trust in him.
As Christians, we are called to follow in Jesus' footsteps to embody the virtues of peace, gentleness, happiness, and modesty in all aspects of our lives. We are called to love others as Jesus loved us, to show compassion to the poor and needy, and to forgive those who have wronged us. Through our actions and words, we seek to share the message of Jesus with the world, to be a light in the darkness and bring hope to those who are lost.
To understand Jesus' message, we must examine our beliefs and practices in light of His teachings. We must strive to follow His example, to be humble, selfless, and obedient to God's will. By putting His teachings into practice, we can become better representatives of His love and grace and share His message with those around us.
