When we stop and think about it, we realise that the people who really matter to us are the ones who don't try to solve all our troubles or give us lots of advice. They are the ones who just sit and listen. They recognise and sympathise that we're going through a tough time.
A true friend can sit with us in silence when we're feeling hopeless or confused, stick with us when we're grieving, and accept that some things just can't be fixed. They are always there for us, no matter what, giving their steadfast support without judgment or expectation.
A true friend doesn't try to fix everything wrong with us, which would take a lifetime. Instead, they help us through the difficult times and support us when we need it the most. They know that sometimes, the best thing they can do is just be there and sit and listen.
When we face weakness, pain and confusion, a true friend stands by us. They are not afraid of the harsh realities of life or your pain and discomfort. They know that these are simply part of being human. They face the unknown, walking with us and offering concrete support in tough times.
So, a true friend is worth their weight in gold. They are trustworthy and patient. They are the ones who really care about us and are always there to support us when we need them. They walk with us on our journey of healing. They cry with us in times of sadness and laugh with us in moments of joy. They make life better just by being there for us.
