Jesus Came in Weakness and Humility

Les Henson

The portrayal of Baby Jesus in the manger is a potent symbol that communicates a message of great importance. Despite his vulnerability, Baby Jesus held the world in his hands and had ten thousand angels at his disposal. This humble arrival of the saviour of the world teaches us that true greatness comes from serving others and accepting our weaknesses.

To follow in the footsteps of Jesus, we must learn to embrace the value of humility and the path of self-sacrifice. Although it may involve making sacrifices and acknowledging our limitations, this will ultimately lead to a greater sense of purpose and Christlikeness. We can find true meaning in life by recognising our weaknesses and submitting our will to God.

At the heart of Christianity lies Jesus' message of the Cross, which leads to humility, selflessness, and surrender to the will of God. Following his example, we can find fulfilment and live purposefully. Christianity teaches us that serving others and embracing our vulnerabilities are the paths to Christlikeness. By living a life of humility, serving others, and accepting our vulnerabilities, we can become beacons of light and hope to those around us.

The life of Jesus serves as an example of how to lead a fully human and purposeful life. His message of humility and self-sacrifice resonates with all who follow him. By practising humility, serving others, and embracing our vulnerabilities, we can discover our true purpose and meaning in life. Therefore, let us all strive to follow Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life. Let us embrace his example and teachings of humility, self-sacrifice, and surrendering to God's will. For in following his example, we can live a fulfilling and Christ-centred life.
