Truth always comes with strings attached, because truth is only perceived in and through a worldview and a culture. Thus there is no such thing as absolute objectivity, or neutrality from a human perspective for truth comes wrapped up in a mindset and with a collection of motivations that tie us to the culture in which we are embedded. Only God sees thing absolutely and objectively for all truth is ultimately God’s truth, and if this is the case, as it is, then there is no area of life over which human research or wisdom can claim absolute rights. Hence we need to learn to see the world as God’s creation and all-human effort, exploration and thought as ultimately belonging within the purview of Gods good creation and his redemptive purposes.
