The direction of our lives is established, in part, by the choices we make or don’t make. Do we make this choice or that choice? Do we move in this direction or that direction? Do we remain in this job, or do we venture out and take another job? We make thousands of decisions in our lifetime. Each decision we make influences the overall direction and shape of our lives in one way or another. Some choices are relatively insignificant, while others change the direction we take for the rest of our lives. We need to keep in mind that even when we make bad choices or wrong choices, there is always a way back, enabling us to move once again in the right direction where we can find wholeness, joy and satisfaction in our lives. Very rarely are our choices irredeemable for those who trust in gracious, loving and faithful God.
