Grace and Justice Interlinked

The grace of God and the justice of God are inherently interlinked. If we have indeed encountered God and experienced his grace in our lives, then we will do justice and act justly. It will be an intrinsic part of who we are as the people of God. However, if we don’t care about the poor and the oppressed then it is a clear indication that God’s grace has not deeply, penetrate our hearts. At the very least it demonstrates that we have failed to comprehend the outworking of grace within our lives, and at the worst, it means that we have not experienced God’s saving grace. Indeed, grace should make us just; it should cause us to be actively concerned about justice.
