We live at a time when everyone is busy, and few are in a position to slow down. However, we each have to have time, imagination, and energy to make a place of solitude, where we can relax and feel comfortable either inside or outside our home. A room in the house, a special place in the garden, local park or a woodland area nearby, which we regularly visit alone that can become our place of peace and solitude, and where, we can switch off, face our worst fears and deal with them. Such a place needs to be a place where we love to go, but not to escape from life or our families, friends and neighbours. Instead, it should be a place to withdraw to be strengthened and renewed so that we can face that which life throws at us amid the busyness of our everyday lives.
