Life and Death (Poem)

Updated: May 12, 2020

We seek after life as we journey on the road

that leads to death.

Life and death mingle together on the road we take ever merging often diverging.

We seek after life yet death stalks us on the road of life.

Life and death walk together along the road of life always close but ever distant.

We seek after life yet rarely find it amid the waking dead.

Life and death travel together along the winding road ever present rarely departing.

We seek after life yet we must discover that death is an ever present part of life!
